Lazy has been playing guitar since he was kickin the slats out of his cradle. Now he's still kickin out the blues, in the traditional Chicago style of Albert King, Muddy Waters, but with a modern twist. From the Smokehouse Band of his teen years in the real smokehouse of the Oklahoma farm he grew up on in Lexington, Oklahoma to the short stint with country music in the 80's, with blues throughout Lazy J. Walker has a passion for music deep in his bones that got a grip on him and would never let go. As a beginner Lazy J walked his fingers all over the bass guitar, but has now fully blossomed as a vocalist and lead guitar player. His smooth vocals have been compared to the likes of Eric Clapton, but he is an original like no other.
